A great time was had by all at this year’s
meal. The décor in the venue was exquisite and the food excellent. Fourteen
of us enjoyed the evening but some questions were posed- Who believes
she is one of Robin Hoods merry troops? (although it took practice to
perfect her aim!!!) Who had to remove her tooth to eat her meat? (although
on closer inspection the tooth was an elephant!!!) Who was once again
‘outrageous’-and no, it wasn’t me!! Who was she who demanded intelligent
conversation, whose partner decided to join the UN peacekeeping team?
And finally- who were the tarts!!!! (supposedly extremely nice!!!) Thanks
to our walks co-ordinator and to all who led the walks in 2003.
