| NAUGHTINESS IN BEDFORD – ooo la la! I went to Bedford with a slight feeling of trepidation as the social had talked about naughty costumes and I was wondering how naughty…but as soon as the front door was opened I was relieved…Clusoe & Madame greeted me with bonhomie and kisses. The costumes were fairly low key – some having being disasembled before I arrived. Soon I was partaking of Baguettes and ‘Le soupe onion’, putting pins into the Eiffel tower and answering questions on all things French. We all pondered on mind benders – the French name for the English Channel, the date of the battle of Agincourt, the employer of Stella McCartney…??? My score of 5 looked positively francophile compared to one of the highest scores of 15 so I had another glass of Biere Blanc then crept home… Taken from Womens Link Newsletter - April 2004 |
