The games night held at Biggleswade was
enjoyed by all. There were a variety of games including pass the parcel
and this involved much hilarity as the prize of a mudpack was won by
a person who needed a makeover. The wine went to the person who did
not drink so there was a lot of swapping of prizes. We played various
games throughout the evening and teams were mingled so people could
talk and enjoy the company of different people. Articulate and Guess
Who? were reasonably calm, but Pictionary resulted in some disputes.
There was good-humoured competition and as far as we could tell, absolutely
no cheating! (Although I'm not sure about Angela!!!). People enjoyed
a buffet break and the chance to talk to each other, not just couples,
but new members arrived and joined in too. It was a nice ice breaker
into Women's Link and provided a chance to meet at something other than
a disco where it can be difficult to talk to new people. We are already
